Our core products include the advanced "MoboScan" series of OBD II car scanners. OBD II is the On-Board Diagnostic System standard implemented in 1996 in USA and 2001 in Europe. It is to be equipped on all vehicles thereafter for monitoring emissions-related components and systems for proper functionality. The OBD II utilizes an on board computer of the vehicle to monitor every component and system that can affect emissions during normal driving, and alert the driver through a dashboard malfunction indicator light(MIL) and store fault code information for technicians. All OBD II compliant vehicles should have the same 16 pin Data Link Connector under the dash and an emissions control label under the hood stating that the vehicle is OBD II compliant. |
